Hip-Hop Resurrected

Always speculation on top 5, best rappers alive, and best of all time. However, I want to shed light on the fact that when we lose a hip-hop artist, we gain one right back.

The Notorious B.I.G. in my eyes is the best rapper of ALL TIME. Brooklyn is the city he repped til death, and who else to carry the load of being the lingiustic nightmare than Jay-Z? Also from Brooklyn, however Jay has proved over the years that not only has he made his own lane like Big did, he also clearly showed us that he was ahead of his time.

2Pac was a street soulja, poetic and intelligent to say the least. His rhymes were more story book constructed, with a moral and lesson towards the end. Nas fits that tier better than anyone else in the game right now. Pac was born in NY, but moved to Cali for a better shot in the game, while Nas hails from Queens Bridge, Queens.

Big Pun, coming out of the Bronx, was a new brand of hip-hop. With his quick slick tongue, Pun proved that Hip-Hop was far from dead. He brought comic relief to the game as well, with songs and skits made for the sheer reason to laugh. Despite these anitcs, Pun was still lyrical. Joell Ortiz is the the modern day Pun. While crushing mics at his leisure, Joell also makes his fans laugh through skits and videos on the internet.

Now I DARE someone to say Hip-Hop is dead.
